Seniors
Senior citizens deserve the opportunity to retire with dignity. They should have a government that recognizes their increasing healthcare cost and their decreasing potential to earn.
Seniors need to be afforded a healthcare system that provides the accessibility, affordability, and quality they require.
As your State Representative I will be that voice the seniors have been wanting in Harrisburg.
My plan to help seniors will address:
Provide Property Tax Relief
It is unconscionable that so many seniors are losing their homes due to excessive property taxes.
While taxation should be unbiased with everyone paying their fair share, I believe that seniors have not been properly represented. We must take into account retirees who are on a set income along with the increasing cost of healthcare.
I will work closely with our seniors to best understand their financial situation and work aggressively to develop a more fair approach to property taxes.

Reduce Cost of Healthcare
I believe seniors should have affordable healthcare cost while not giving up quality and access.
To help, I am going to propose legislation that would allow seniors to fully deduct the cost of their healthcare.
